Taking advantage of the third edition of E-Lion Day, Alain Favey, the new CEO of Peugeot, announced that the Sochaux plant will accelerate the offering of fully electric vehicles and make performance a strategic priority throughout 2025.
Reaffirming its commitment to contribute to achieving the Zero Carbon Goal, Peugeot announced its intention to further accelerate this transition, relying on its 5 Electric Pillars (E-pillars): Electricity, Efficiency, Experience, Education, AmbientE.

Thus, in the coming weeks, Peugeot will launch a new 100% electric Dual Motor version with 325 hp and all-wheel drive for the E-3008 and E-5008.
This new variant combines a 213 hp electric motor that powers the front wheels with a second 112 hp electric motor that provides power to the rear wheels, thus offering all-wheel drive.

Additionally, a 5-seater option of the E-5008 will hit the market in the second half of 2025, joining the 5-seater variant that offers a trunk volume of 994 liters with the second row of seats in place. This represents an additional 78 liters compared to the 7-seater version. With the second row folded down, the trunk capacity increases to 2,310 liters.
A new feature in the E-3008 and E-5008 ranges is a battery pre-heating system, linked to the cabin pre-heating, which optimizes the duration of the first charge during long trips taken in extremely low temperatures. In the coming months, battery pre-heating will be managed through the Trip Planner.

Thus, by using the Trip Planner, the battery pre-heating will be activated automatically, meaning that the battery will be ready to be recharged when the driver plans their stop.
“We are confident that we have all the cards to achieve success and contribute to a sustainable future for future generations.”, said Alain Favey, the new CEO of Peugeot.
