DS Automobiles announced the new range structure of its models, which now includes two equipment levels: Pallas and Etoile.
The new designations aim to provide greater clarity to highlight the main characteristics of each version, rooted in a coherent legacy with the brand.
Thus, inspired by the distinction of Palace, given to the most luxurious five-star hotels, the name Pallas is a historical specification from DS’s past, introduced in 1964. It is distinguished by great attention to detail and continues to be a historical reference signature of DS, with comprehensive and perfectly tailored equipment for each of the different segments of DS Automobiles models.
Furthermore, the Pallas equipment level features a specific logo representing the entrance door of a grand Parisian palace.
On the other hand, positioned at the top of the range, the Etoile equipment level is another very Parisian designation. It is a symbol of Place Charles-de-Gaulle (previously known as Place de l’Étoile), in the middle of which stands the Arc de Triomphe, at the top of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
Étoile also reflects the supreme status granted to the dancers of the Opéra National de Paris, since the 19th century. In this sense, the Étoile logo mirrors a broad beam of light, formed by the twelve avenues converging at Place Charles-de-Gaulle.
DS Automobiles has already announced that the new range structure will be unveiled this month of April, starting with the DS 4.
