Dreame quer entrar no setor automóvel com um plágio

The Chinese company Dreame Technology, known for its vacuum cleaners, is planning to produce electric cars in Brandenburg, Germany, near the existing Tesla factory.

Dreame has been in the news in recent weeks after revealing a supercar inspired by the Bugatti Chiron. Now a statement from a group of local citizens in Grünheid announced in a press release that the founder and CEO of Dreame, Yu Hao, has already visited locations in Germany, with a clear focus on Brandenburg.

According to the German press, the new production facility is expected to be completed by 2027 and will be larger than Tesla’s gigafactory.

The Chinese company has already confirmed that representatives of Dreame Technology visited Germany recently and that the company is considering building “a factory in Brandenburg”. However, Alexander Gallrein, spokesperson for the Brandenburg Economic Development Agency, has made it clear that there is currently no land available in the state suitable for a project the size of Tesla – that is, 300 hectares or more. “At least none that is developed”.
