Dodge has just introduced the new sedan variant of the Charger Daytona, which is the world’s first four-door “muscle car.”
Although it is similar to the coupe version in terms of panels, roof line, and trunk, the new version of the Charger Daytona presents itself as more practical, offering 945 mm of legroom in the rear seat, and a trunk with a cargo capacity of up to 1,059 liters.

In fact, the interior of the new Charger Daytona sedan is equipped with a 16” digital instrument panel, along with a Uconnect 5 infotainment system featuring a 12.3-inch screen, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Additionally, the first four-door “muscle car” also comes with a dual-zone climate control system, as well as a heated steering wheel, and seats made of fabric and synthetic leather.

The new Charger Daytona is available as standard in the Plus version, which also includes a wireless smartphone charger, a 64-color ambient lighting system, as well as an electric steering column.
Outside, highlights include LED headlights, an electric trunk lid, and a surround camera system with ParkView 360.
Dodge has equipped the new Charger Daytona with an extensive list of driving assistance and safety systems, particularly featuring adaptive cruise control with stop & go function, active driving assistance that includes active lane management. In addition, the sedan is equipped with automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, as well as a high-speed forward collision warning system.

In terms of powertrain, the new Charger Daytona features a 100.5 kWh battery, allowing for a range of up to 388 km, in addition to an all-wheel drive system with two electric motors, producing 639 hp and 849 Nm of maximum torque. However, the PowerShot function can provide an additional 41 hp that can be used for 10 seconds. The battery can be charged at a 350 kW fast charger, allowing it to charge from 20% to 80% in just 24 minutes.
Like the coupe, the new sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 217 km/h.

Despite the good performances of the new Charger Daytona sedan, note that Dodge has already announced that by the end of the year it will launch the Charger Sixpack, which will come with a 3.0-liter, inline six-cylinder twin-turbo Hurricane engine, with power outputs of 426 and 558 hp.
