Sabe quanto veículos eletrificados já produziu a BMW?

BMW has just announced the production of the three millionth electrified vehicle, which came out of the main BMW Group factory in Munich.

This is a BMW 330e Touring, a plug-in hybrid in Portimao Blue, intended for the UK market. BMW revealed that in 2024, one in every four vehicles sold by the company was fully electric or plug-in hybrid, and that in the brand’s factories, vehicles with electrified propulsion and internal combustion engines are produced in parallel on the same production line.

“With highly flexible production, the BMW Group can meet customer needs in tune with market trends and demand,” said Milan Nedeljković, member of the Board of Management responsible for Production. “All factories in our global production network are equipped for electromobility, paving the way for continued growth in this segment.”

It is worth noting that in 2013, BMW began series production of fully electric vehicles with the BMW i3. The 100% electric urban model was manufactured for about ten years at the Leipzig factory, alongside the brand’s first plug-in hybrid, the BMW i8.

Electromobility represents a growing share of production volumes, with the brand surpassing 25% in 2024, with about three-quarters of these vehicles being fully electric.

In this way, BMW Group reminds that a total of one and a half million 100% electric vehicles from the brands BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce have already been delivered.
