Alfa Romeo announced this Thursday that the Stellantis factory in Pomigliano d’Arco, Naples, Italy, has produced the 100,000th unit of the Tonale.

Launched in 2022, the Italian brand’s SUV quickly gained the preference of both the public and international critics. Last year, it received its first update, which equipped the Tonale with new interiors featuring a redesigned center console, a new rotary selector for the automatic transmission that replaces the traditional lever, contributing to a more elegant appearance, and a fully digital instrument panel that creates a more technological environment inside the Italian SUV.
Currently, the range is divided into three equipment levels: Sprint, Veloce, and Intensa, and includes a variety of engines such as the Plug-In Hybrid Q4 with 280 hp and a 6-speed automatic transmission, the 160 hp Hybrid with variable geometry turbo (VGT) and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and the 130 hp Turbo Diesel with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
