Denza, the premium brand of BYD, announced that it will unveil the new N9, a luxury hybrid SUV, on March 21, even though the model is already on sale in the Chinese market prior to its launch.
The brand has already revealed the first images of the new SUV, confirming that the model will feature a “First Edition” version, limited to 2,000 units.

The new model, based on the intelligent e3 platform, is equipped with a hybrid system that consists of a 2.0-liter turbo gasoline combustion engine with 207 hp, which combines with a 200 hp electric motor on the front axle and two more on the rear axle, each with a range of 326 km. The combined power is 925 hp, allowing the new SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3 seconds.
Denza also announced that the N9 has a combined CLTC range of 1,300 km. The three electric motors are powered by a 47 kWh battery, which claims an electric-only range of up to 200 km.

The interior aligns with the Denza Z9 GT and features three screens: a 13.2’’ instrument panel, a 17.3’’ infotainment system screen, and a 13.2’’ screen for the front passenger.
Additionally, the driver’s seat is equipped with the world’s first active lateral support function, while the front passenger enjoys a zero-gravity seat with an adjustable leg rest in four positions. The second-row seats offer electric adjustment with 14 settings and include sliding double tables among other features.
Rear seat passengers also have access to a screen that descends from the roof, measuring 17.1’’.
The new Denza model will be unveiled next week in China, but some units are already available for pre-sale at the brand’s dealerships.
