Denny Hamlin’s bad luck seems to have come to an end. The experienced driver from Joe Gibbs Racing had a rough start to the 2024 season, with disappointing results in the Daytona 500 and Atlanta races. However, things took a positive turn when Hamlin won a $300,000 blackjack tournament at a Las Vegas casino. He shared his victory on Instagram, posting photos of himself with a glass trophy shaped like playing cards. Hamlin’s group also joined in the celebration, wearing “AllIN” hats featuring the number 11 of his JGR Toyota Camry. Despite his recent good luck, Hamlin struggled in qualifying and will start in P28 on Sunday. He also revealed that it costs around $350,000 for a team to have competitive Next-Gen race cars. Regardless of his starting position, Hamlin is hoping for a strong performance and a possible win on Sunday.
