Denny Hamlin Praises NASCAR Icons for Elevating CARS Tour to New Heights

NASCAR sensation Denny Hamlin has thrown his unwavering support behind the visionaries propelling the CARS Tour to unprecedented levels of success. The #11 Joe Gibbs Racing driver, as reported by FloRacing, has lauded the remarkable growth and exposure the stock car racing series is currently enjoying, with a notable upcoming North Wilkesboro Speedway race set to be broadcast on Fox Sports.

The zMAX CARS Tour, known for its thrilling late model car races, boasts a stellar lineup of co-owners, including none other than Hamlin’s former rivals on the track – Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, and Jeff Burton. Notably, Justin Marks, the co-owner of Trackhouse Racing, is also part of this illustrious group of owners driving the series to new heights.

The anticipation is palpable as the series gears up for the 100-lap Late Model Stock race at North Wilkesboro Speedway this Friday, coinciding with NASCAR’s All-Star weekend – an event that Hamlin emerged victorious from in 2015. This milestone event will also mark the series’ inaugural broadcast on Fox, reaching an even broader audience of racing enthusiasts.

In a statement resonating with enthusiasm for the CARS Tour amidst the buzz of the All-Star Race weekend, Denny Hamlin expressed his excitement, stating, “Love the opportunity that these guys were getting. I mean on the big stage, sharing a weekend with the Cup guys on the All-Star weekend. You’re at a NASCAR Cup Series track… you’re on a big network. All those things are fantastic.”

Hamlin went on to commend the series’ co-owners for their exceptional efforts, remarking, “It’s great to see the job that Justin (Marks), Jeff (Burton), [and] Dale (Earnhardt Jr.) have done with the CARS Tour to keep this thing promoting and keep growing it. It’s going to be fantastic to see.”

Following the much-anticipated LMSC race by the CARS Tour, Denny Hamlin is revving up for the heat race on Saturday, a crucial step in determining his starting position in the main event. With his track record as a previous All-Star winner and multiple race victories in the past two seasons, Hamlin is undoubtedly a driver to watch in the upcoming NASCAR All-Star Race, set to kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.

As Fox prepares to pass the broadcasting torch to Prime Video, starting with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the NASCAR community is abuzz with excitement for the thrilling showdown between the sport’s finest drivers.

In a separate but equally electrifying development, Denny Hamlin engaged in banter with former teammate Kyle Busch on the Actions Detrimental podcast, playfully urging Busch to ease up on his winning streak to allow Hamlin to climb the all-time wins ladder. With Hamlin currently boasting 56 Cup race wins and Busch not far ahead with 63 victories, the friendly rivalry between the two adds an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming races.

The stakes are high as former All-Star Race winners Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch prepare to face off in the main event, vying for the coveted $1 million prize money this Sunday. Racing fans are in for a treat as these two titans of the track go head-to-head in a battle for glory and riches.
