Dennis elogia a expertise dos pilotos no ciclismo em grupo.

Jake Dennis, Andretti driver, praised his fellow FIA Formula E drivers for their impressive ability to avoid accidents in the pack-style racing that has been prevalent in the final months of the championship.

Dennis, who faced challenges in both races during the double-header weekend in Berlin, was one of the drivers who did not express strong displeasure towards pack racing. Jean-Eric Vergne, on the other hand, made serious statements to the press about the possibility of leaving the sport if this continues, while Antonio Felix da Costa stated that he will accept it if the fans enjoy it and referred to the style as suitable for “true drivers.”

Some drivers have already discussed the possibility of a meeting to address this issue. When asked about it, Dennis responded: “We can talk about it as much as we want, but I have been involved in two accidents. You have to show a lot of respect to the drivers you are competing with, and the incidents I experienced were when the driver was completely unaware of my presence.”

“We just need the drivers to be completely aware, and if we are, we usually manage to avoid accidents, which happens 99.9% of the time.”

“It’s just that 0.1% of the time.”

“When I watch these races live, there are so many occasions where an accident should have occurred, but we are talented enough to avoid it, and the audience doesn’t see that. However, inside the car, there are numerous moments when you have to say ‘well done’ to both drivers for avoiding a collision.”

“In the junior categories, it would simply be chaotic.”

The pack racing is likely to continue in the upcoming stages of the championship in Shanghai, with the race taking place on a revised layout of the city’s Formula 1 circuit, which has not yet been revealed.
