Defender Octa chega no final do ano e promete ser o mais potente da gama
The Land Rover Defender family is set to grow with the arrival of a new performance variant, Octa, which promises to be more robust, more luxurious, and the most powerful in the lineup. The new Octa, which owes its name to the octahedral shape of a diamond: rare and highly prized, and which is the hardest material in nature on earth, will feature a V8 biturbo gasoline engine with mild hybrid technology, and will be equipped with a 6D Dynamics pneumatic suspension, for extreme performance on all types of terrain. The 6D Dynamics technology with hydraulic interconnection features an innovative system for controlling tilt and longitudinal acceleration that allows the Defender Octa to maintain an almost level position during acceleration, braking, and cornering on the road, as well as maximizing wheel travel and independent articulation in the most demanding off-road situations. Land Rover has already announced that the symbol of this top-of-the-line Defender is a new graphic representing a diamond inside a circle. It is incorporated into various internal and external components, including distinctive graphic panels, where it is depicted as a shiny black diamond within a machined titanium disc with a sandblasted finish. The new SUV is already undergoing testing, in a development process that the British brand says is the most comprehensive in the history of the Defender, in environments ranging from the ice and snow of Sweden to the deserts of Dubai, the asphalt of Nürburgring, and the rocky roads of Moab in the USA.

“Defender is synonymous with all-terrain capability and its lineage dates back to the 1948 Series 1. The new Defender Octa will take you to a new level with its imposing design, innovative technology, and unparalleled attention to detail. With exceptional performance and a bold new attitude, it will allow our customers to enjoy epic adventures with the utmost luxury”, stated Mark Cameron, Managing Director, Defender.

Before the launch of the new Defender Octa, scheduled for the end of the year, an exclusive preview of a new global series Defender Elements will take place.
