Estreia em Zurique: Leapmotor C10 AWD com 598 cv

Still without a release date announced for the market, but with a public debut scheduled for the Zurich Motor Show (which will take place from October 30 to November 2), named Leapmotor C10 AWD, the latest addition to the lineup (which will take the top spot) of fully electric SUVs from the Chinese brand distributed in Europe by the Stellantis Group. Along with the promise of convincing with exciting and safe dynamic performance, as it has been developed, in the words of its builder, “for drivers who value power, versatility, and intelligent control”, it boasts features such as an 800 V architecture, all-wheel drive ensured by a motor installed on each axle, a combined output of 598 hp and 720 Nm, and the ability to achieve 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds.

The battery with LFP (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry, and a capacity of 81.9 kWh, specifically designed for this model, accepts fast charging in direct current at 180 kW, allowing for recovery from 30%-80% charge in 22 minutes. In this regard, and although it does not provide any data regarding range, Leapmotor goes further by stating that “even in extreme cold conditions, the system delivers exceptional performance without the need for preheating, maintaining high efficiency, and reducing component wear.”

Aiming to “redefine electric mobility by offering a perfect combination of high-performance driving and precise handling, designed for tech-savvy and performance-oriented customers”, the C10 AWD will be able to provide a premium experience on board, largely thanks to the infotainment system with a 10.25” instrument panel and a 14.6” central monitor; the sound system with 12 speakers and 840 W; the spacious cabin with a panoramic glass roof; and a trunk with up to 1410 liters of capacity.
