The longest Formula 1 season may prove to be the most challenging to follow, as it spans nine months and includes an impressive 24 race weekends. Below, we provide an analysis of the upcoming F1 race dates, the full 2024 calendar, and the schedule for pre-season testing:
The third grand prix of the season is scheduled to take place in Australia, specifically at the beloved Albert Park circuit. Unlike the season opener in Bahrain and the subsequent race in Saudi Arabia, both held on Saturdays to accommodate the sacred period of Ramadan, the Australian GP will take place on a Sunday. This makes it the first Sunday race of the 2024 season.
Prior to the start of the season, there was only one pre-season test. This test took place in Bahrain, just one week before the first race of the year. Starting on February 21 and concluding on February 23, the pre-season tests lasted a total of three days.
