Daniel Ricciardo espera garantir posição em 2025 apesar de início desafiador na temporada.

Daniel Ricciardo is once again facing the possibility of being fired after being released by McLaren in 2022. The Australian driver made a return to the F1 circuit last year and caught attention for his impressive performances. However, his luck changed this season when he was outperformed by his much younger teammate in the early races. Despite this setback, Ricciardo remains hopeful and determined to secure a spot for the next season with the team based in Faenza.

Since entering the F1 circuit in 2011, Daniel Ricciardo has been a favorite among fans. However, his recent struggles in the VCARB 01 brought back unpleasant memories from the past. This has raised doubts within the paddock about whether Ricciardo deserves to keep his place, which could be taken by a talented young driver.

Despite these concerns, Ricciardo is determined to secure a full-time spot for 2025. The 34-year-old driver has expressed his joy behind the wheel and claims not to be worried about the results. However, he acknowledges that Formula 1 is a business that demands results, and he is fully aware of that. Ricciardo doesn’t want to be on the track just to participate; he wants to earn his place and prove his worth.

Ricciardo’s performance has fallen below expectations, and he may once again face the management team’s wrath. Helmut Marko, in particular, has been critical of Ricciardo’s lackluster performances and has even given him an ultimatum. However, the Australian driver is unfazed by Marko’s criticisms. Ricciardo insists that he and Marko share the same goal of improving his performance. With over 20 races ahead, Ricciardo believes that two strong performances can change Marko’s opinion.

However, Ricciardo may face the same treatment as his predecessor. Taking everything into consideration, the upcoming races will be captivating to watch, with a special focus on Ricciardo’s performance in the VCARB 01 during the three-day event in Shanghai.
