and McLaren ended their partnership at the end of 2022, despite having a contract until 2023. The driver, who won 8 races, faced difficulties during his time with the Woking-based team. McLaren decided to replace Ricciardo with a new driver last year, who has achieved impressive results so far. Now, the 34-year-old driver praised his compatriot for his performances.

Ricciardo was asked if he was happy to see Piastri finish fourth in the [race name]. The VCARB driver expressed his joy for the 22-year-old. He acknowledged the McLaren driver’s result, even though he did not score himself.

Furthermore, the 8-time race winner mentioned that Piastri is a talented individual. Ricciardo stated that as he spent more time with the 22-year-old, he liked him more and more. Daniel Ricciardo was delighted to see Piastri achieve solid results for Australia at the top of motorsport. Recently, McLaren’s team principal, [insert name], praised Oscar Piastri’s progress since his debut last year.

Ricciardo faced difficulties in the first three races of the 2024 season. The Honey Badger was overtaken by teammate Yuki Tsunoda at the Australian GP, where the Japanese driver scored crucial points for VCARB. Daniel Ricciardo’s former teammate, [insert name], was puzzled by the 8-time race winner’s struggles this season.

However, the Honey Badger stated that it was a positive week. Daniel Ricciardo recalled the “exhausting” 2019 Australian GP during his first season with Renault, when he retired from the race. Nevertheless, the 34-year-old driver believes that this year’s race was similar to 2022, when the VCARB driver had fun at Albert Park.

Daniel Ricciardo remains determined to bounce back despite a slow start in 2024. VCARB emphasized the important role of the Australian in the Red Bull sister team. Therefore, it seems that the 34-year-old driver is in a supportive environment that can contribute to his improved results. Fans are eager to see Ricciardo’s progress in the upcoming races.
