The 49-year-old driver is set to make a return to NASCAR at Bristol this September. Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Bristol, thanks to a new sponsorship extension with his longtime partner. He will be driving the No. 88 Chevy alongside his four drivers from Junior Motorsports, and his goal will be to replicate his impressive performance from last season at the same track.
Junior Motorsports, which is owned by the 49-year-old driver, recently announced that they have extended their sponsorship contract with condiment manufacturer Hellman’s. This exciting news means that Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be returning to Bristol this season in the Xfinity series. This surprised many, as the two-time Xfinity series champion had stepped away from NASCAR after his retirement to focus on managing his team.
The No. 88 driver has made sporadic appearances in the Xfinity series over the years for his JRM team. He even led the race at Bristol last year, but unfortunately, a fire in his car ended his chances of victory. Despite this setback, Earnhardt is determined to win at Bristol this time and secure his final victory before turning 50 in October.
Since 2009, JRM has consistently had at least one race sponsored by Unilever. Hellman’s has also been a partner of JRM in recent years. This partnership will continue this year, thanks to the support of Hellman’s and Unilever.
The owner of JRM expressed gratitude to Hellman’s and Unilever for their significant contributions to the team. Their financial support has played a crucial role in the organization’s success, especially in its early days. Earnhardt is looking forward to his race in Bristol, thanks to the support of his sponsors.
