Dale Earnhardt Jr. está frustrado com os pilotos de patinete e aconselha Tyler Reddick a realizar uma inspeção minuciosa na pista.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., a member of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, has a comical aversion to scooters. He is known for speaking his mind, even if it means embarrassment on a big NASCAR platform. In a recent episode of his podcast, Dale Jr. download, the two-time Xfinity Series champion expressed his disapproval of drivers using scooters during track walks.

Tyler Reddick, a driver for 23XI Racing, is one of the most prominent scooter enthusiasts in NASCAR. He often shares images of himself and his colleagues using scooters during track walks. However, Dale Earnhardt Jr. finds this annoying, as he prefers to walk the tracks on foot. He admitted, jokingly, that it makes him feel like an old man.

During the discussion, Dale Earnhardt Jr., a two-time Daytona 500 winner, revealed that he has scooters at home that his daughters use. However, he never felt inclined to try them out. He believes that drivers should experience the asphalt on foot, just like in the old days.

Not all NASCAR legends share Earnhardt Jr.’s aversion to scooters. Kurt Busch, the 2004 NASCAR Cup champion and CFO of 23XI Racing, often joins Reddick on the track using scooters. Earnhardt Jr. recalled a moment during a scooter session in Nashville when Busch had a unique scooter that seemed to belong to the city of Austin.

In the end, Earnhardt Jr.’s distaste for scooters seems to come from a general aversion and seeing them too often. He acknowledges that his age may influence his feelings, but he believes in being honest about his opinions.
