Dacia actualiza Sandero, Jogger e amplia gama com o Logan

Dacia took advantage of the imposition of the European GRS2 standard, which defines the new safety requirements for vehicles in the European Union and comes into effect in July, to introduce slight updates to the Sandero, Jogger, and Sandero Stepway ranges.

The new safety standards of the European Union now require vehicles to include several standard protection devices, aiming to improve road safety for everyone, including pedestrians and cyclists, as well as requiring models to be equipped with a “black box” that records all driving data.

Thus, Dacia introduces a new variant for the Sandero, the Journey, derived from the Stepway Extreme, which includes a shark fin-shaped antenna and diamond-cut Randia wheels as standard. Inside, notable features include a removable smartphone holder, a reversing camera, air conditioning, and compartmentalization of the trunk.

There are also new two-tone Flexwheel Atara wheels for this model, and bicolored Flexwheel Atara Dark wheels for the Sandero Stepway and Jogger.

The Sandero Stepway now exclusively offers a new body color, Safari Beige, which gives the model an even more outdoor character. The previously reserved Schiste Gray for the Jogger and the iconic Extreme Green Cedar are now available in all models.

On its side, the Jogger Hybrid 140 debuts a 7” instrument panel, seen for the first time in the new Duster, more modern and offering more specific information to the driver, and now has the new function that allows to maintain a target charge level for the traction battery of about 70%, to be used later on a trip.

In this way, the driver can use the electric mode on climbs and deactivate it as soon as the steep climb ends.

In terms of safety, new equipment has been introduced throughout the range, starting with the Essential version, and in addition to the “black box”, it is now available as standard, recognition of traffic signs with speed alert, lane departure warning system, lane keeping assist, driver attention alert, rear parking assist, light and rain sensors, advanced emergency braking system (pedestrians and cyclists), as well as emergency braking signal.

A button on the instrument panel “My Safety” allows the driver to deactivate certain Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) during driving and whenever the car is turned on.

In addition to the updates of the Sandero, Jogger and Sandero Stepway, Dacia announced that the range is expanding in Portugal with the addition of the new Logan, which is returning to the national market.
