The Dacia Sandero led the table of passenger cars sales in Europe in the first half of 2024, with 143,596 units sold.

According to data released by JATO Dynamics, which gathers sales of new vehicles from 28 European countries, sales of the Dacia Sandero increased by 16% in the first six months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

The VW Golf, on the other hand, occupied the second position with 129,993 units sold, representing a 43% increase compared to the same period last year.

The top three best-selling models in Europe in the first half of 2024 were completed by the Renault Clio, which sold 114,623 units, a 15% growth compared to the 2023 data.

It is worth noting the Tesla Model Y, which dropped from first to eighth position in the overall ranking of the best-selling models in Europe, with 101,181 units, a 26% decrease compared to the same period last year.
