Cupra has decided to update the Formentor and the Leon with a set of cutting-edge solutions that enhance the bold design and smart technology of these models.
Thus, the Formentor, the Leon, and the Leon Sportstourer now feature advanced Matrix LED Ultra headlights, which allow for welcome and farewell animations projected in front of the vehicle, creating an exclusive CUPRA experience, while the now more refined dynamic lighting system ensures visibility and control in all driving conditions.
The Martorell brand revealed that new headlights incorporate 25,000 pixels to enhance the light signature with three triangles. The maximum light without glare automatically adapts to oncoming traffic without compromising visibility, while the dynamic low beam lighting more clearly defines the lanes, making night driving safer and more precise.
In addition to the new headlights, all three models are now also equipped with enhanced safety with the introduction of the Front Cross Traffic Assistant.
Using radar sensors, the system detects vehicles crossing the path of the car at low speeds and alerts the driver visually and acoustically up to 30 km/h. If necessary, the system can emergency brake up to 10 km/h.
Note also that the body color palette is now enriched with the Dark Void paint, for a more distinctive presence.
