The new Cupra Tavascan has achieved the highest rating of five stars in another round of tests by Euro NCAP, the leading independent vehicle safety assessment program in Europe.
The Tavascan performed exceptionally well throughout the entire safety testing process, reflecting the active and passive safety technologies that equip the vehicle.
As a result, the Cupra SUV achieved its best score in the adult occupant protection category, with a rating of 89%, while in child protection it recorded a score of 86%, and in the protection of more vulnerable road users, the evaluation was 80%. In terms of assistance and safety systems, it obtained 79%.
Remember that the first fully electric coupé SUV from Cupra is available in Portugal with two power levels, Endurance, Adrenaline, and Extreme versions: with 286 hp and 545 Nm of maximum torque. The electric motor is powered by a high-performance lithium-ion battery, with a usable capacity of 77 kWh, providing a range of up to 568 kilometers.
The VZ version, on the other hand, boasts a combined power of 340 hp. This version uses two motors, one on each axle, giving it all-wheel drive. A 77 kWh usable capacity battery powers the two electric motors and allows for a range of up to 522 kilometers.
