Cristiano Ronaldo’s car collection already exceeds 40 vehicles, according to the Portuguese player himself, but not all of them are for driving. In an interview with Piers Morgan, the Al-Nassr player confessed that, besides not knowing exactly how many cars he owns, he does not drive them. Instead, he prefers to collect them, which is one of his passions.
CR7’s taste for sports cars is already well known. The national team player and Al-Nassr has a fairly extensive collection of exclusive models, some of which are produced in limited numbers. Therefore, when he is seen driving one of his cars, it generates a frenzy on social media.
Recently, the Portuguese declared in an interview with Piers Morgan that he has a collection of more than 40 cars, but the exact number “escapes him,” admitting that he prefers to collect them rather than drive them, in a different way of living with cars. When asked about the exact number, Ronaldo replied, “I don’t know,” and reiterated that “if I had to bet, I would say around 41, 42… I don’t know.”
Explaining his approach to life, Ronaldo told Morgan that he now prefers to make better use of his money and time, distancing himself from the material side. “I don’t go shopping. If I go somewhere, I can buy whatever I want, but I don’t need it. OK, let’s say three days ago I bought a car, but it’s for the collection. It’s like buying a painting. I’m not going to drive that car. It’s like an investment,” he stated, revealing next that the latest addition to his collection is a Bugatti Tourbillon.
By the way, the French brand has the preference of CR7, who argues that “they have something special”. In another particular detail, Ronaldo assures that these cars are not for driving, but rather for “looking at” when he goes to the garage. “I don’t know, I never drive. I just look at them… they go for inspection and then I see if they are clean, if they are in good condition, and they go to the garage”, admitted the Portuguese winger.
Ronaldo’s car collection includes many truly special models from some of the most exclusive brands in the world, such as the aforementioned Bugatti, of which he owns the recent Tourbillon, but also the Chiron and Centodieci, the latter with a very limited production of only ten units, featuring a W16 engine with 1600 hp.
But there are other notable names in Ronaldo’s garage, such as Ferrari, which features the Daytona SP3, Monza SP1, 599 GTO, Purosangue, and F12tdf, among others. Or Lamborghini, with the Aventador and Urus. In his approach to luxury, Ronaldo also has a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Phantom Drophead, Porsche 911 Turbo S, and McLaren Senna, just to name a few more high-end cars whose mileage is likely not very high.
