In a shocking twist to the NASCAR lineup, Corey LaJoie is stepping into the spotlight, replacing the injured Brad Keselowski in the highly anticipated Bowman Gray Clash. This thrilling pre-season exhibition race is set to kick off on February 1st, and the stakes have never been higher!

Keselowski, a seasoned driver and team owner, is currently sidelined after suffering a serious broken leg during a family skiing trip on December 18th. Following a successful surgery, the 41-year-old is focusing on his recovery and will miss this crucial event, as well as the Daytona 500, which takes place merely two weeks later. The racing world holds its breath as fans eagerly anticipate Keselowski’s return to the track.

Enter Corey LaJoie, the dynamic and experienced driver who will take the wheel of the No. 6 Ford Mustang for RFK Racing. LaJoie boasts nearly 300 Cup Series starts under his belt and has proven himself as a formidable competitor. In 2025, he made headlines with four Cup starts and nine Truck Series appearances, showcasing his versatility and determination. Alongside his driving duties, LaJoie has also made a name for himself as a NASCAR analyst on Prime Video, further solidifying his presence in the sport.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity, LaJoie took to social media, stating, “Happy to be of service. Wishing BK a speedy recovery. Let’s go get another trophy at The Madhouse.” His confidence is palpable as he gears up to compete against a fierce lineup of rivals, including Bubba Wallace, Kyle Larson, Daniel Suarez, and Chase Elliott.

LaJoie’s history at Bowman Gray is nothing short of legendary. In 2012, he dominated the ARCA East Series race at the iconic short track, leading an astonishing 118 of 153 laps and taking home the coveted checkered flag. This victory not only underscores his talent but also highlights his ability to thrive in the high-pressure environment that Bowman Gray is known for.

As the countdown to the Clash begins, all eyes will be on LaJoie as he aims to capitalize on this golden opportunity. The racing community is buzzing with excitement, eager to see if LaJoie can turn this chance into a triumph and secure a trophy in front of a passionate crowd at “The Madhouse.” Will he rise to the occasion, or will the pressure prove too much? One thing is certain: the stage is set for an electrifying showdown, and the anticipation is palpable!
