In a heart-pounding night at Tri-City Speedway, Corey Day from Clovis, California, showcased his outstanding skills by claiming a thrilling victory with Kubota High Limit Racing. The 19-year-old racing prodigy secured his second win of the season in an intense competition, solidifying his dominance in the series with a spectacular performance.

The defining moment of the race came when Day executed a jaw-dropping “diamond” maneuver on Lap 10, outmaneuvering his competitors Brad Sweet and Tanner Thorson in a daring move that left the crowd in awe. Despite facing challenges like skimming the outside wall and navigating through lapped traffic, Day maintained his composure and skillfully led the final 20 laps of the race.

With a remarkable 1.763-second lead, Day clinched the victory, further establishing his early-season success with an impressive track record in 2025. Brad Sweet, who finished second, demonstrated a remarkable comeback after a previous setback, extending his lead in the championship standings.

Other notable performances included Justin Peck securing a podium finish for the second consecutive night and championship contenders Tyler Courtney and Brent Marks finishing in the top five, showcasing their determination in the title race. However, the night also saw disappointments as Tanner Thorson and Spencer Bayston faced early exits due to technical issues.

The intense competition culminated in a thrilling finish, with Day emerging victorious and solidifying his reputation as a formidable force in the racing world. With each race, Day proves that he is a force to be reckoned with, capturing the hearts of fans and leaving a trail of defeated competitors in his wake.

As the dust settles at Tri-City Speedway, one thing is clear – Corey Day’s name will be etched in the annals of racing history as a true champion.
