Citroën will set up a sports park in Caxias, Oeiras municipality, as part of its social responsibility projects and the My Ami Causes initiative.
The new park, which has nothing to do with cars, will be inaugurated at the end of June aiming to integrate communities into environmental issues and promote sports activities, particularly among younger generations.
The new space with an area of about 500 square meters will feature a 3 x 3 basketball court and a futsal court, also equipped with changing rooms to support the sports activities.
In a sustainable project, volunteer actions will be carried out to clean the beaches in the Oeiras municipality, aiming to collect and later treat and reuse waste in the construction of sports equipment, such as the basketball hoops in the park.
Citroën is partnering with the project with its innovative Ami, an urban micromobility solution that is celebrating its fourth anniversary.
