Citroën reveals teaser of the Basalt before its debut

Citroën Basalt is the name of the new SUV coupé that the French brand will launch in Brazil, Latin America, and India in 2024.

The new model will be presented on Wednesday, March 27, and Citroën has now revealed a “teaser” before the debut, not disclosing details about the new model.

However, it is already known that the new Basalt will share the CMP and eCMP platforms with the new C3 and C3 Aircross, being equipped with a 1.2-liter turbo gasoline engine with 110 hp.

The final design of the new model is still a mystery, but according to the French brand, it will have a body in the style of the Fiat Fastback, which also belongs to Stellantis, combining the style, comfort, and performance of a compact SUV.
