The Miller cycle engine is combined with an electrified dual-clutch automatic transmission e-DCT that incorporates a 28 hp electric motor powered by a 48V lithium-ion battery housed under the floor. The hybrid version 136 of the C3 Aircross has a starting price of €24,590.
In addition to the hybrid variant, the compact SUV from Citroën presents for the first time a 100% electric version that is powered by a 113 hp motor associated with a 44 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery, which promises a range of over 300 km.
In terms of charging, the French brand revealed that the battery of the new C3 Aircross can be charged at fast charging stations up to 100 kW from 20 to 80% in 26 minutes, and standard AC charging at 7 kW in 4h10m. This unprecedented 100% electric version is available for a price starting at €26,490.
Citroën also announced that in 2025 a version equipped with a different battery will be available, increasing the electric model’s range to over 400 km.
With the opening of orders, the French brand confirmed that the first deliveries of the new C3 Aircross are scheduled for the last quarter of 2024.
