Citroën ë-C3 apresentado em Portugal: chega em junho com preço desde €23 300

Citroën is determined to make electric mobility accessible to everyone, and for that reason, it has just presented the new ë-C3 in Portugal, the most affordable B-segment electric hatchback in the national market.

With a 113 hp motor powered by a 44 kWh LFP technology battery, which allows for a range of up to 320 kilometers and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.0 seconds, the ë-C3 is equipped with a single-phase on-board charger of 7.4 kW, which allows for a full battery charge in 4h10m in a 7 kW power wallbox, and in fast charging of 100 kW, it recovers between 20% to 80% of the charge level in just 26 minutes.

With compact dimensions, the ë-C3 measures 4.02 meters in length, a width of 1.81 meters, and a height of 1.52 meters. The new 100% electric model from the French brand also features a slight increase in habitability dimensions, with a 310-liter trunk.

Being taller than the previous C3, the new model allows all occupants to sit in an elevated position, contributing to better visibility. In addition, it is equipped with Citroën Advanced Comfort seats, in the top-of-the-range version, which for the first time are presented in a lower market segment, as well as an innovative C-Zen Lounge dashboard and modern equipment that promise to simplify the daily life of the driver and passengers, including a new instrument panel design and a smaller steering wheel.

With the new ë-C3, Citroën has simplified the range, and therefore, only two equipment levels will be available, the entry-level You version and the more equipped Max variant, with prices starting at €23,300 and €27,800, respectively.

The You version includes Citroën Advanced Comfort suspension as standard, a first in this segment, as well as intelligent technologies such as the new Citroën Head Up Display and “My Citroën Play” with a smartphone station, a system that allows these devices to be connected to the vehicle and take advantage of their functions, as well as the e-ROUTES app with Connect Plus (intelligent travel planner) and a USB type C socket on the dashboard (fast charging 3A).

Regarding driving support systems, they include the Active Safety Brake emergency braking system, speed limiter with cruise control, hill start assist, active lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, driver attention alert, collision risk alert, and six airbags (front, side, and curtain).

In this configuration, the new ë-C3 also includes air conditioning, electric front and exterior mirror adjustment, black and gray Chinée fabric upholstery, folding rear bench seat, electric parking brake, LED headlights (with automatic high beam activation), LED daytime running lights, 16″ steel wheels, and rear spoiler.

The Max equipment level is complemented with Citroën Advanced Comfort seats in Metropolitan gray upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, electric windows front and rear, and automatic air conditioning. Additionally, the infotainment system offers a 3D navigation system on a central 10.25″ touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, reverse camera, and three USB Type C ports, one on the dashboard and two for rear passengers (3A fast charging).

In the exterior, the 17″ Atacamite diamond-cut alloy wheels stand out, as well as the glossy black roof bars, tinted rear windows, intelligent automatic headlights, and 3D LED taillights. The model also includes heated and electrically foldable exterior mirrors and rear parking sensors.

The first units of the new Citroën ë-C3 will arrive on the market in June, and the French brand has already announced that an affordable electrification strategy will be reinforced in 2025, with a version offering a range of up to 200 km for €19,990.
