Christian Horner revela conversa com pai de Max Verstappen em meio a repercussão pública da saga de investigação.

Jos Verstappen, father of Max Verstappen, publicly criticized Christian Horner regarding the alleged leak of evidence last weekend. Christian Horner, the Team Principal of Red Bull, has recently been in the spotlight for negative reasons. He was investigated for allegations of misconduct made by a staff member, but was cleared of all charges. However, controversy arose due to an alleged leak of evidence. Jos Verstappen publicly expressed his disapproval of Horner’s actions over the weekend.

Christian Horner has now revealed that he had a conversation with Jos Verstappen after the Bahrain GP. Horner congratulated the former Formula 1 driver on his son’s impressive victory and the two also discussed the situation at hand. They agreed to move forward and acknowledged that it was in the best interest of the whole team to fully focus on the 2024 F1 campaign.

Previously, it was reported that Max Verstappen found himself caught in the conflict between his father and Horner. However, the current F1 champion chose to focus on his racing instead of the backstage tensions. Horner emphasized that Red Bull is interested in providing Max Verstappen with a competitive car that could potentially secure the championship title this season.

Max Verstappen is currently under contract with Red Bull until the end of 2028. However, the disagreement between Jos Verstappen and Horner has sparked rumors of a possible move to Mercedes. The former F1 driver even had a meeting with Toto Wolff, head of Mercedes, during the Bahrain GP. Wolff hinted that there could be a possibility of the three-time world champion joining their team.

Although Max Verstappen has not completely ruled out the idea, he acknowledged that Red Bull is currently the best place for him. However, if the situation between his father and Christian Horner improves, he may be inclined to continue his career in Milton Keynes.

It is crucial for Red Bull to keep Max Verstappen in their team in the foreseeable future. The relationship within the team may improve in the coming weeks. Fans will be eager to see how things unfold between Max Verstappen’s family and Christian Horner in the future.
