Christian Horner reage ao ‘otimismo’ de Toto Wolff em garantir Max Verstappen.

Toto Wolff is confident in his persuasive abilities, as he believes he can secure Max Verstappen’s services at Mercedes next season.

The surprising move to Ferrari created a vacancy at Mercedes. There are several talented drivers vying for the coveted spot in Formula 1. Among them, Max Verstappen is considered one of the top contenders. However, Toto Wolff has responded to speculation about acquiring the three-time world champion.

While Toto Wolff doesn’t rule out the possibility of bringing Verstappen to the Silver Arrows from 2025, the Dutch driver has reaffirmed his loyalty to Red Bull. Verstappen has previously stated that not even a sum of “$250 Million” would convince him to switch to the German team. However, Wolff remains optimistic about successfully securing the 26-year-old driver.

Christian Horner, on the other hand, is not convinced of Verstappen’s chances of joining Mercedes. Horner believes Wolff will continue to fight for the current world champion. He made it clear that he is certain about his team’s drivers for the upcoming season in Milton Keynes.

Despite not having the fastest car on the Spanish circuit, Max Verstappen managed to clinch victory in the race. He had a fierce battle with for first place and ultimately emerged victorious. Horner described the win as “satisfying” rather than a dominant victory with a substantial advantage. He also praised Verstappen for his impressive performance during the race.

Horner also praised Red Bull’s decision-making and strategy during the Spanish Grand Prix. He highlighted Verstappen’s successful overtakes on Norris and his ability to defend his position. The team’s flawless execution also contributed to Verstappen’s impressive victory in Spain.

Despite facing challenges with its speed, Red Bull remains competitive thanks to Verstappen’s dominance. The Milton Keynes team has been working to improve its performance after a series of setbacks. They will continue to introduce updates throughout the season to enhance their speed.
