Christian Horner está causando atrito na Red Bull Racing com rumores de uma tentativa de ganhar mais poder na equipe.

According to reports, Christian Horner allegedly stated that Red Bull’s automotive division has achieved financial independence for the first time in its history.

Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull Racing, has faced challenges in recent months. After accusations of inappropriate behavior by an employee, the 50-year-old man was found innocent. However, a leak of alleged evidence caused further controversy. Now, there are reports about Horner’s situation within Red Bull GmbH.

It is believed that the Austrian branch of Red Bull, owned by the late Dietrich Mateschitz’s son, has turned against Christian Horner. They are reportedly seeking to remove him from his position in light of recent revelations. However, the support of majority shareholder Chalerm Yoovidhya from Thailand allowed Horner to remain in his role.

Christian Horner has been the team principal of Red Bull Racing since 2005. However, after Dietrich Mateschitz’s death, Horner allegedly lost control over the Milton Keynes division. In an attempt to regain control, he proposed separating Red Bull‘s automotive division from the rest of the company, which includes Red Bull Racing, Red Bull Powertrains, Red Bull Advanced Technologies, and VisaCashAppRB.

Horner reportedly emphasized that the entire automotive division of Red Bull has achieved financial independence without relying on support from the parent company. He stated that Milton Keynes has become self-sufficient and no longer needs assistance from Austria, marking a significant milestone in its history.

These circumstances are believed to be the cause of tensions between Horner and the Austrian headquarters of Red Bull. However, unless further action is taken against him, the 50-year-old man is expected to continue as team principal in the coming weeks.

The value of Formula 1 teams has increased significantly in recent years, making them attractive investments. Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff holds a 33% stake in the Brackley-based team. Additionally, an investment group, which includes a Hollywood figure and an NFL star, acquired a 24% stake in Alpine.

Since taking over Jaguar, Christian Horner has led Red Bull Racing since its foundation in 2005. He played a crucial role in turning Milton Keynes into a championship-winning team over the years. Allegedly, Horner tried to buy the F1 team from Chalerm Yoovidhya without informing the Austrian owners of Red Bull GmbH, but his efforts were unsuccessful.

Arguably, Christian Horner finds himself in a challenging public situation. His relationships with the Austrian management of the parent company are also tense. However, for now, Horner will remain in his role as team principal. Fans will be eager to see how the situation unfolds in Milton Keynes in the coming weeks.
