An employee accused Horner of behaving inappropriately and exerting control. Red Bull authorities took action by hiring an external lawyer to conduct the investigation. Prior to the Bahrain GP, Horner was cleared of the accusations. However, shortly after, leaked evidence was sent to journalists and key figures in the F1 community, including [driver’s name]’s father. Max Verstappen publicly criticized the Red Bull team principal, and the suspension of the female employee further fueled the controversy.
Despite the chaos surrounding him, Christian Horner continues to lead Red Bull. Recently, when discussing future strategies, Horner emphasized the unity of the Milton Keynes-based team. He credited the team’s success, attributing their achievements to collective efforts.
Following the complaint made by the employee in February, an independent investigation was launched. Throughout the process, the Red Bull chief vehemently denied all allegations against him. After considering both sides of the story, Red Bull GmbH cleared Horner of any wrongdoing. Subsequently, the employee was suspended from her position. A friend of the employee expressed disappointment, stating that she followed all proper procedures and now feels betrayed. Additionally, she lost her beloved job. Although the accuser had the opportunity to appeal, it seems she chose not to do so at this time. Red Bull GmbH declined to provide further comments on the matter.
