The collision between Lando Norris and Max Verstappen resulted in significant damage for both parties involved in the incident. The collision caused Red Bull to lose a substantial amount of points in front of their home crowd. Both individuals were extremely dissatisfied with the accident and exchanged harsh words with each other. Norris has now spoken out about the matter and taken the side of the Red Bull star regarding the collision.

Christian Horner, the head of the Red Bull team, expressed his belief that the ten-second penalty given to Verstappen was too severe. He also highlighted that Norris engaged in unnecessary dives during the race. Despite this, Horner found positivity in the race and emphasized the importance of extending their lead in the championship.

Norris acknowledged that the friendship between him and Verstappen would be greatly affected if Verstappen refused to take responsibility for the incident. The Dutchman stated that if Norris wanted to win races, he should be prepared to race aggressively. Norris also claimed that Verstappen caused significant damage to his chassis.

The Austrian GP was filled with excitement and action on the track, with several incidents occurring. Verstappen was on his way to winning the race before the collision abruptly changed the outcome. However, Norris was not completely innocent, as he made several mistakes during the race.

After the collision, both drivers deserved a penalty, not just Verstappen. Horner pointed out that Norris exceeded track limits four times and should have also received a penalty. The British driver showed ambition while racing on the track. However, the end of the race was incredibly frustrating and resulted in the loss of several points for the team.

Despite the difficulties in the 2024 season, Red Bull is expected to continue achieving excellent results. The end of the season promises thrilling excitement and intense action on the tracks. The competition has never been so fierce since the beginning of the ground effect era.
