Christian Horner acknowledges that Red Bull is pushing at full throttle in 2024 following four consecutive races without a victory.

Red Bull’s lead over McLaren in the Constructors Championship is now just 42 points.

Red Bull had a strong start to the 2024 season, winning several races convincingly. However, they faced setbacks midway through the season and their performance began to decline. As a result, the team has been working hard to address the issues and improve their performance in the second half of the season. The focus has been on resolving the problems with the chassis.

Throughout the season, there have been ongoing discussions about the challenges with the chassis. Verstappen, in particular, has been vocal about the team’s efforts to address these issues. He previously mentioned that the team was working tirelessly to resolve the problems with the RB20.

Team principal Christian Horner has also emphasized the team’s commitment to fixing these issues. He added that the lessons learned in the 2024 season would be crucial for the upcoming season as well.

In addition, Horner reflected on the team’s performance in the first half of the 2024 season. He acknowledged that Red Bull had secured seven race wins and multiple sprint race victories. The team was also leading in both championships. Therefore, despite the challenges faced, there were still positive aspects for Red Bull before the summer break.

McLaren has emerged as a strong competitor on the grid, showing significant improvement in their performance. The gap between McLaren and Red Bull in the championship standings is narrowing. Horner acknowledged this and stressed that Red Bull is determined to maintain their lead in the championship.

Red Bull is facing competition from multiple teams in the championship race. The competition at the front of the grid has become closely contested due to the struggles faced by various teams. As a result, the remaining races of the season will witness various contingencies for all the teams, particularly Red Bull.
