Christian Eckes, the rising star of NASCAR, is making a sensational return to the Truck Series in 2026, fueling excitement among fans and competitors alike! At just 25 years old, Eckes is set to reignite his partnership with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) after a brief hiatus. This dynamic driver previously showcased his talent with MHR during the 2023 and 2024 seasons but took a leap into the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Kaulig Racing in 2025.

Despite facing tough competition in the Xfinity Series, where he finished a respectable 13th in the championship standings—boasting six top-five finishes and 15 top-ten finishes—Eckes is ready to return to his winning roots. With an impressive track record of 116 career starts in the Truck Series and a staggering nine victories under his belt, he is determined to reclaim his place at the top. Next season, he will take the wheel of the No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado, under the expert guidance of crew chief Dave Elenz.

“I couldn’t be happier to be back at MHR,” Eckes exclaimed, radiating enthusiasm in a press release. “We had a lot of success in 2023-24, and we want to get back to that next year. Bill [McAnally] and I have always had a great relationship, and we’re putting a lot of quality people and pieces together.” His history with MHR is remarkable—of his nine National Championship Truck Series (NCTS) wins, eight were secured with this formidable team.

Team owner Bill McAnally is equally thrilled about Eckes’ return, stating, “We’re excited to have Christian back. He certainly has his fingerprints on our program, and all of us were proud to see him in the Xfinity Series last year, but we have unfinished business.” McAnally believes that the combination of Eckes and Elenz will create a powerhouse team capable of battling for the championship.

The excitement doesn’t end there. With strong partnerships with sponsors like NAPA, Old World Industries, and NAPA Brakes Gold Calipers, MHR is poised for a groundbreaking season ahead. “It’s special to have partners like NAPA return to support this, and to grow our relationship with Columbia Bank,” McAnally added, hinting at the tremendous support fueling their championship ambitions.

As the motorsport world buzzes with anticipation, all eyes will be on Christian Eckes as he gears up for a thrilling 2026 Truck Series season. Will he reclaim his throne and add another championship to his already impressive resume? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain: the stage is set for a dramatic showdown, and Eckes is ready to deliver!
