Young racing sensation Chloe Chambers reigns supreme in the rain-soaked battleground of F1 Academy qualifying in Miami, leaving her competitors in her rearview mirror. The Red Bull Ford driver claimed pole position for Race 2 after showcasing her skill and speed despite the challenging weather conditions.

Chambers dominated the session with a blistering time of 2:00.458s early on, before the rain descended and thwarted any attempts at improvement from the other drivers. Red Bull’s Alisha Palmowski trailed in second place, followed by Mercedes’ Doriane Pin in third. The championship leader, Maya Weug, faced a setback, qualifying in a disappointing 10th position.

The practice sessions leading up to qualifying saw Pin and Weug taking turns at the top of the timesheets, setting the stage for an intense battle. As the rain loomed, Palmowski and Chambers made their move early on, with Chambers ultimately clinching pole position by a razor-thin margin of 0.018s.

The treacherous conditions on the track led to several drivers struggling to improve their times, with many opting to return to the pits rather than risk it all on the wet surface. The session ended with Chambers securing her place at the front, followed by Palmowski and Pin.

With the threat of rain impacting the upcoming races, teams scrambled to gather valuable data by switching to wet tires mid-session. McLaren’s Ella Lloyd secured a solid fourth place, while Williams’ Lia Block delivered her best qualifying performance of the season in fifth.

The stage is set for an electrifying showdown in Race 2, with Emma Felbermayr starting from pole position due to F1 Academy’s reverse grid rules. As the excitement builds and tensions run high, all eyes are on Chloe Chambers as she looks to translate her qualifying success into a triumphant race finish.

Fueled by determination and a relentless drive for victory, Chambers has proven herself as a force to be reckoned with on the track. Stay tuned as the drama unfolds at the Miami International Autodrome, where the young phenom is set to leave her mark on the F1 Academy circuit.
