Chip Ganassi Racing has officially revealed a striking new livery for sophomore IndyCar driver Kyffin Simpson, marking a dramatic departure from his rookie season’s more subdued corporate design. The renumbered No. 8 Honda, previously the No. 4, is set to turn heads with an asymmetrical, high-energy color scheme that embodies a bold new direction for the team and its primary sponsor, Journie Rewards.
“The refreshed colors and asymmetrical design reflect a bold new direction for Journie Rewards, which will once again serve as the primary partner of the No. 8 throughout 2025,” the team announced in a statement.
For Simpson, the fresh look adds even more excitement to his second season in IndyCar.
“I’m really liking these new colors on the No. 8 Journie Rewards Honda. I think they’ll look really good on track and can’t wait for everyone to see them in St. Petersburg.”
With the 2025 IndyCar season opener in St. Pete fast approaching, fans will soon get their first look at Simpson’s eye-catching new ride. Can this new identity signal a breakout year for the promising young driver? The countdown to the green flag begins now.
