Chip Ganassi Racing Celebrates Alex Palou’s Historic Fourth Championship: Spoiled by Driving Greatness!

Chip Ganassi Racing’s Glory: Alex Palou Secures Fourth Championship, Leaving Rivals in the Dust!

In a stunning display of dominance, Alex Palou has snatched victory once again, clinching the 2025 NTT IndyCar Series title and solidifying his status as one of the greats in racing history. This triumph marks Palou’s fourth championship in just five years, catapulting him into the elite ranks of motorsport legends.

But this isn’t just a win for Palou; it’s a monumental achievement for Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR), a powerhouse that now boasts an astonishing 17 championships in its storied history. With previous champions like Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti setting the bar high, Palou has not only met the expectations but has also elevated them to new heights.

Team owner Chip Ganassi couldn’t contain his excitement after Palou’s impressive victory on Sunday. “Well, it certainly makes it more difficult to hire other drivers, I can tell you that,” Ganassi remarked when reflecting on the challenges of scouting new talent amidst such stellar drivers. He candidly expressed his feelings about the overwhelming talent on his roster, saying, “I feel so bad when I’m spoiled with Palou and Dixon and Franchitti. Yes, it spoils me.”

His praise for Palou didn’t stop there. Ganassi highlighted the remarkable work ethic of his star driver: “I’ve never seen a guy work so quietly and diligently at his craft as Palou. I said in the beginning of the year that we’re just scratching the surface of his talent.” The team owner believes there’s still untapped potential in Palou, stating, “I still think he’s got more in his gas tank, his tank, for this season, and he’s got more in his tank for the coming seasons.”

With this latest championship, Chip Ganassi Racing has now tied Team Penske for the most series championships in history, both teams standing proudly at 17. However, with Palou’s raw talent secured, it’s only a matter of time before CGR breaks that tie and establishes a record that could stand for generations.

As the dust settles on this remarkable season, the IndyCar world watches with bated breath. With Palou leading the charge, the future looks dazzling for Chip Ganassi Racing, and the competition will need to step up their game if they hope to keep pace. The legacy continues, and the thrill of the race is far from over!
