The F1 circuit at this location is known for its challenging corners, specifically Turn 1 and 2. These corners, which are actually a continuous decreasing radius curve, have always posed a difficulty for drivers. In the past, the left front tire used to suffer due to the demanding nature of this corner, sometimes even prematurely ending a driver’s lap. However, with the introduction of new compounds and the need for ground effect setup on cars, old strategies to tackle these corners are no longer effective.

The reliance on ground effect to generate downforce can also make these corners unpredictable. The length and change of direction of the corner mean that the car’s handling will vary significantly between entry and exit, especially in the presence of moderate winds. Even teams with strong aerodynamics may struggle with this challenge. Mercedes, in particular, is known to have inconsistent control over their ground effect. As a result, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some cars going off track and ruining their qualifying laps.

Discovering a bump on the track at the wrong moment can have a big impact on a car’s downforce. In recent years, we have witnessed several accidents where a car suddenly lost grip for no apparent reason. These incidents are often caused by uneven surfaces, which require certain parts of the track to be leveled. The introduction of new asphalt, combined with low grip and lack of data, adds an extra layer of tension for the teams on the pit wall. This is especially true for Williams, who already face challenges with the absence of a spare chassis.

Carlos Sainz seems to have been treated unfairly. With the news that Fernando Alonso has secured a spot at Aston Martin until 2025, there are few places on the grid that truly deserve Sainz’s talent. We hoped that Lawrence Stroll, the owner of Aston Martin, would realize that his son’s position as a high-level F1 driver was just a dream. Unfortunately, it seems that Stroll remains oblivious to this fact, much to the detriment of Sainz and the Aston Martin F1 team.

A partnership between Fernando and Carlos would offer a genuine opportunity to win the F1 Constructors’ Championship. It would also greatly benefit the Aston Martin brand and boost car sales. However, Stroll senior seems to be blind to these advantages, which is a disappointing failure.

Speculations are circulating that Sainz has reached an agreement with Mercedes. Considering Sauber and Williams as the only other viable options, this seems to be a positive outcome.

However, the statement “Mercedes will solve their performance problems” seems to be losing credibility. This statement has been made for three years, but there is no concrete evidence of improvements. Throughout this season, the W15 has consistently ranked between the fourth and fifth fastest car on the grid.

Interestingly, this arrangement could benefit both parties involved. Once the adults take over at Sauber in 2026, Carlos will likely move to Audi, and it seems that young Mercedes talent Kimi Antonelli needs more time in the F2 “oven” than previously anticipated by Toto Wolff.

Previously, I hinted that the results in Shanghai may be different from the first three stages. This is because the track lacks slow corners that lead to long straights. This combination has favored the RB 20, as its advanced suspension allows it to maintain momentum in these corners and, consequently, achieve higher speeds on the straights.

As rival aerodynamic programs quickly approach, Red Bull’s advantage on this track is gradually diminishing. Coupled with the Sprint weekend format and reduced training time, there is an opportunity for a team not belonging to Red Bull to secure the front row and the win. Personally, I believe that McLaren has a good chance in the Sprint race, while Ferrari may stand out in the Feature/Grand Prix/Long Race.

Brazilian driver, Pedro Silva, achieved an impressive victory in the Formula 1 Grand Prix this Sunday. Silva, who races for the Mercedes team, dominated the race from start to finish, leaving his competitors behind. With this win, Silva becomes the favorite for this year’s world championship.

The race started with Silva starting in pole position and maintaining the lead from the first corner. He showed impressive pace and managed to open a significant gap over the other drivers. Even with some incidents during the race, Silva was able to stay calm and control the situation.

Silva’s fans were thrilled with the performance of the Brazilian driver. In the stands, the crowd cheered with every lap and celebrated with every overtake by Silva. Sports commentators also praised the skill and determination of the driver.

With this victory, Silva is getting closer and closer to the world title. He already has a big advantage in the overall standings and seems unbeatable on the tracks. Now it’s up to the other drivers to try to catch up and reach the Brazilian.

The next Grand Prix will be held in two weeks, and everyone is eager to see if Silva can maintain his dominance on the tracks. Fans are already placing their bets and rooting for the Brazilian driver. Will he be able to achieve another victory and get even closer to the world title? Only time will tell.
