As predicted in the end of last week, fuel prices started the new week falling, after four consecutive weeks of increases.
According to the calculations of the website “Mais Gasolina“, Galp lowered the price of regular 95 gasoline by 2 cents per liter, to an average price of €1.804, while regular diesel, the most widely used fuel in Portugal, dropped 2.5 cents to €1.678 per liter.
BP followed suit with Galp and lowered the price of regular 95 gasoline by 2 cents to €1.832, and regular diesel by 2.5 cents, to €1.706.
Repsol also did not deviate from the rule, and this week regular 95 gasoline has an average price of €1.792 per liter, which is 2 cents less than last week, while regular diesel is priced at €1.668, representing a decrease of 2.5 cents.
