Citroën has announced that as of Wednesday, July 31, ChatGPT, as part of the Connect Plus package, will be available in its C4, C4 X, C5 X, Berlingo, Spacetourer, Berlingo Van, and Jumpy models.
Developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT is integrated into Citroën’s infotainment system, thanks to SoundHound’s voice and audio recognition platform.
As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) language model, it has been developed to generate responses based on deep learning, bringing us closer to a truly intelligent and interactive driving experience that simplifies daily driving.
On the one hand, this functionality improves the voice recognition already available in the brand’s models, making it even closer to natural language and more accurate and agile.
Drivers can use voice commands to perform various tasks, such as adjusting the temperature or navigating to a specific destination, without taking their eyes off the road. And that’s not all: the system is capable of engaging in real conversations, providing answers like a human assistant on a wide range of general knowledge topics.
In addition to Portugal, this new feature will be available in France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Poland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, and Denmark.
