Chase Briscoe Dominates Iowa Speedway Qualifying with Yet Another Electrifying Pole Victory

NASCAR Cup Series driver Chase Briscoe (19) climbs into his car Sunday, July 27, 2025, ahead of the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Chase Briscoe continues to dominate NASCAR Cup qualifying, securing yet another pole position at Iowa Speedway in a thrilling display of speed and skill. Since joining Joe Gibbs Racing, Briscoe has been a force to be reckoned with, earning a total of six poles and consistently starting from the front row in recent races.

In a jaw-dropping performance, Briscoe’s lap time of 23.004 seconds was enough to outpace his competitors, with William Byron trailing behind by a mere 0.084 seconds. The talented driver expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s definitely been great on Saturdays for our Bass Pro Shops Toyota. Would love to convert that to Sundays.”

Briscoe’s success extends beyond just pole positions, with a notable victory at Pocono this year. Notably, he has clinched pole positions in prestigious events like the Daytona 500, Coca Cola 600, and Brickyard 400, showcasing his versatility and prowess on the track.

The star-studded lineup for the race saw Kyle Larson starting third, followed by Austin Cindric in fourth, and Brad Keselowski in fifth. The competitive field also includes top drivers like Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, and A.J. Allmendinger vying for victory.

However, not all drivers had a smooth qualifying session, as evidenced by Kyle Busch’s heavy crash during practice, necessitating a switch to the backup car. Despite the challenges faced on the track, no major incidents occurred during qualifying, ensuring a thrilling and action-packed race ahead.

As the anticipation builds for the race at Iowa Speedway, fans can expect nothing short of adrenaline-pumping excitement and fierce competition as drivers battle for supremacy on the track. Stay tuned for all the heart-stopping action and drama as the NASCAR Cup series unfolds with Chase Briscoe leading the pack from pole position once again.
