Chase Briscoe admite que seu tempo na NASCAR terminará se ele não conseguir uma vitória com a JGR.

Chase Briscoe believes that winning races at JGR is crucial for his success. The renowned racing team, Joe Gibbs Racing, officially announced the hiring of Briscoe as the replacement for the retiring 2017 Cup champion. This announcement was made by the TRD driver, who emerged victorious in the recent Cup race in New Hampshire. Briscoe will have the opportunity to compete for the Cup series championship this year with the No:19 Toyota Camry team, which consistently provides high-quality cars in the Next-Gen era. This is a significant chance for Briscoe compared to his previous experience with the No:14 Stewart Haas Racing team. He understands the importance of winning races to establish himself in the highest echelons of stock car racing.

During a conversation on this subject, Briscoe emphasized that he finds himself in a similar situation to his 2020 Xfinity season, where winning races was the only way to prove himself. He firmly believes that if he fails to secure victories in his first two seasons with the No:18 JGR team, it will mean the end of his stock car racing career. Briscoe recognizes that winning races with JGR is a necessity. He highlights that if he fails to do so and misses the chance to participate in the playoffs, it won’t take long for Joe Gibbs to decide to part ways with him.

Unlike other drivers, Briscoe did not need to bring in major sponsorship deals for JGR, as he will take over Martin Truex Jr.’s sponsors. This further solidifies the fact that he was hired based on his talent and experience. Therefore, it is imperative for Briscoe to prove himself on the track to secure his place within the team.
