Charles Leclerc Secures Third Front Row Start of the Year and Aims to Challenge McLaren in Austrian Grand Prix

In a thrilling qualifying session for the Austrian Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc clinched his third front-row start of the season, following his achievements in Bahrain and Monaco, all resulting in second-place grid positions. The Ferrari driver expressed his satisfaction, stating, “I am very pleased. It has been a long time since we started on the front row. It has been a tough season overall, but the team has been pushing hard. We brought some new parts this weekend, which certainly made a difference because the margins are very close.”

Leclerc, known for his exceptional race pace, is optimistic about his chances in the race, mentioning, “I am very happy with the lap. It’s a good start to the weekend. We know that we usually have a better car in the race than in qualifying, so I hope we can put a little more pressure on McLaren tomorrow.” The Monegasque driver also acknowledged the strong performance of McLaren’s Lando Norris, stating, “I can’t imagine Lando’s lap with our car, but we will work towards that. It’s not to underestimate Lando’s work. He must have done an incredible job. Congratulations to him. He deserves it. Tomorrow we will try to make it tough for him.”

As the anticipation builds for the race day in Austria, all eyes will be on Leclerc as he aims to challenge the McLaren team and secure another podium finish. With the competition heating up on the grid, fans can expect a thrilling battle for the top positions at the Red Bull Ring.
