Charles Leclerc has made waves with the latest addition to his collection: a custom black Ferrari SF90 Stradale, setting him back a cool $900,000. Unlike a typical team-supplied vehicle, this sleek powerhouse was purchased by Leclerc himself—a fitting testament to his deep-rooted admiration for Ferrari beyond his professional ties.

The SF90 Stradale showcases Ferrari’s groundbreaking engineering with a combined output of 1,016 horsepower from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors. This supercar in black, featuring Leclerc’s signature number 16, exudes sophistication and personal flair. Delivered in Leclerc’s hometown of Monaco, it blends effortlessly into the luxury-laden streets, yet its understated elegance sets it apart.

Leclerc’s passion for Ferrari is no secret. Over the years, his growing collection reflects not only his career but also his personal love for the brand. The SF90 Stradale represents the pinnacle of performance and design—a car as thrilling and unpredictable as an F1 race itself.

Meanwhile, Ferrari’s weekend in Brazil was a mix of triumph and tribulation. The wet, unpredictable conditions challenged even the most skilled drivers. Leclerc delivered a solid performance amid the downpour, while teammate Carlos Sainz struggled with the challenging conditions. Sainz’s weekend was marred by two crashes—the first during qualifying at Turn 2 and another on race day, with his SF-24 careening off-track and into the barrier. His frustration was palpable as he expressed the challenges of handling the Ferrari in wet conditions.

“It’s very unpredictable,” Sainz admitted. “This car has been extremely difficult to drive in the wet this year. Apologies to the team for the mistakes—they cost us, but starting from the pit lane, points were already hard to come by. We’ll turn the page and come back stronger.”

Despite a tough race, Ferrari remains resilient, with second place in the constructors’ championship still within reach. As the season races to a close, Leclerc’s new black SF90 Stradale is a reminder of his loyalty to the Ferrari name—a partnership both on and off the track that fans can’t help but admire.
