Charles Leclerc promises to not hold back against Lewis Hamilton while driving for Ferrari

Charles Leclerc asserts that once he joins Ferrari for the 2025 season and beyond, he will be a strong competitor against Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion is set to arrive at Ferrari in 2025, and despite hopes that the competition would not be tough, Hamilton will still have to contend with his teammate, Leclerc. Leclerc, although happy about Hamilton’s arrival, states that he will show no mercy when competing on the track.

In an interview, Charles Leclerc expresses his enthusiasm about Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari in the upcoming season. He mentions that it will be thrilling to work alongside such a fantastic driver like Hamilton, who has achieved a great deal in his career. Leclerc looks forward to driving the same car as the British driver and eagerly anticipates witnessing Hamilton’s impressive driving skills showcased in the red Ferrari.

Additionally, Leclerc states that working with Lewis Hamilton presents a fantastic opportunity for him to learn from one of the best drivers in history. He emphasizes his excitement about demonstrating his own skills and abilities. Leclerc also makes it clear that he will not hold back when competing with his teammate for points and podium finishes. Therefore, the 26-year-old driver eagerly awaits this experience and believes it will be a great opportunity for both learning and showcasing his talent.

Charles Leclerc reveals that during his upbringing, he spent most of his weekends racing go-karts, which made it challenging for him to closely follow the Formula 1 season. However, he managed to watch some races and admired Lewis Hamilton as one of the top drivers he observed.

During his karting days, the 26-year-old driver felt both amazed and intimidated by the impressive skills of Formula 1 drivers. Among them, he considers Hamilton the best due to his remarkable career achievements and success in the sport.

Undoubtedly, Charles Leclerc held the highest admiration for Lewis Hamilton during his youth, as Hamilton was the best driver at that time. Now, as they team up for the 2025 season, Leclerc feels grateful to race alongside his childhood hero. The 26-year-old eagerly looks forward to the upcoming season, and fans are excited to witness the dominance of this Monegasque and British duo on the race tracks.
