Charles Leclerc está aberto à ideia de incluir esportes a motor nas Olimpíadas para mostrar Mônaco.

Charles Leclerc would not miss the chance to represent Monaco in the Olympics if Formula 1 were included as a sport.

Formula 1 drivers have a deep affection for the sport, and the opportunity to represent their country is a great honor for them, especially in countries where the sport is not widely followed. Charles Leclerc, who is from Monaco, also has a strong passion for the sport. Therefore, he stated that he would not hesitate to race in the Olympics for Monaco if given the opportunity.

Recently, Charles Leclerc made history by becoming the first Monegasque to win the race at home in the Formula 1 championship. This victory earned him immense love and support from fans around the world. Participating in the Olympics is a significant achievement for any athlete in their respective field. Therefore, Leclerc believes that having Formula 1 in the Olympics would be a fantastic addition.

Leclerc emphasized the pride that comes with representing his nation in any sport. This is especially true for a small nation like Monaco, which makes the situation even more unique. He pointed out that there are only about 10,000 true Monegasques, making the opportunity to represent Monaco even more special.

Many Formula 1 drivers have an interest in and support various sports outside of F1. It is common to see drivers attending football events to cheer for their national teams. However, since Monaco does not have its own team participating in Euro 2024, Charles Leclerc found himself in a dilemma.

Leclerc had to choose between supporting France, his closest country, or Italy, considering his career with Ferrari in F1. Both options were important to him. Despite not being a big football fan, the 26-year-old expressed his inclination to support Italy.

As a result, several pilots and fans will be closely following the highly anticipated Euro to see how the tournament unfolds. Leclerc, along with other football enthusiasts on the grid, will be watching the sport and focusing on his performance during the 2024 season for Ferrari.
