Charles Leclerc Dominates for Ferrari – “Everything just went right”

In a race where the leader seems to glide effortlessly under the radar, dominance is often the word of the day. Charles Leclerc delivered a masterclass performance, securing a decisive victory with an impressive pace that only his teammate, Carlos Sainz, could attempt to match—albeit from a distance.

Leclerc’s dominance was underpinned by a flawless Ferrari strategy, leveraging their exceptional pace to stay ahead of the competition. Despite admitting that the weekend had been challenging, the Monegasque driver praised the team’s efforts and strategy that ultimately secured the win:

“It hasn’t been an easy weekend. I’ve struggled with the feel of the car up until now, but I was confident that things would improve in the race, and they did. We saw signs of that in the Sprint, and while we weren’t scared, we thought others would improve. But we still had the advantage. I’m really happy with today. A one-two finish for the team. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better result.”

Leclerc went on to highlight the exceptional work behind the scenes at Ferrari:
“We did an amazing job. The car’s pace was fantastic, and that’s thanks to the engineers. They’ve been working like crazy to bring the updates we introduced in Singapore and over the last few races. It seems to be paying off. The whole team is working brilliantly. The pit stops were smooth, and everything just went right, so we’re very, very happy. We’re still pushing for the title, but this is a great start to this triple-header.”

With Ferrari looking strong and Leclerc’s performance sending a clear message to the grid, the Scuderia continues to show it is a force to be reckoned with as they set their sights on the championship title.
