Charles Leclerc nega críticas de Max Verstappen ao Drive to Survive, diz que impactou positivamente a F1.

Charles Leclerc’s opinions on the Netflix documentary series, ‘Drive to Survive’, were completely different from those of current F1 champion, Max Verstappen.

Formula 1 has attracted millions of new fans in recent years, partly thanks to the Netflix series, which premiered in 2019. However, the show has faced criticism from both fans and drivers. Despite this, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc praised the series for its positive impact on the sport.

In the past, Max Verstappen expressed his dissatisfaction with Drive to Survive, stating that certain aspects of the show were dramatized, resulting in less screen time for him. On the other hand, Leclerc believes that the Netflix series has been beneficial for Formula 1. He highlights the significant growth of the sport since the first season of the show.

Leclerc acknowledges that the perspective presented in the series may differ from the actual experiences of those in the paddock. However, he praises the creators of the show for their ability to present the sport in a way that is understandable for fans.

Drive to Survive offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at the world of Formula 1. It even includes revelations, such as team bosses admitting that the departure of a driver like Lewis Hamilton would have an impact on their team. The series also allows viewers to see their favorite drivers in unfiltered moments, where they speak more freely than in regular interviews.

Leclerc highlights that the show also focuses on the people surrounding the drivers, giving viewers a glimpse of their entourage. He believes that Drive to Survive accurately portrays the personalities of those in the F1 paddock, which has helped attract more fans to the sport.

Undoubtedly, Drive to Survive has had a significant impact on Formula 1. The sport has experienced an increase in viewership and interest since the program’s debut. Despite diverging opinions among fans and drivers, both Netflix and Formula 1 will continue to prioritize the series in the future.
