Charles Leclerc confesses to experiencing ‘challenging’ times with Carlos Sainz while at Ferrari

Charles Leclerc has stated that he has faced challenging situations with Carlos Sainz during their time as teammates at Ferrari in 2021. Leclerc acknowledged that they have experienced both good and bad times, from achieving a 1-2 finish in Australia to struggling in qualifying in Spain.

Leclerc expressed his satisfaction with working alongside Sainz and praised him as an incredible driver. Despite the difficulties they have faced at Ferrari, they have managed to overcome them through teamwork and mutual respect. Their partnership has been crucial for the team’s progress and improvements.

Ferrari was initially a strong team at the beginning of the season, and Sainz’s contributions have played a significant role in their progress. However, their partnership will come to an end as the season progresses, as Sainz will be joining Williams and getting replaced by Lewis Hamilton.

Leclerc finds the news of having a seven-time world champion join the team exciting. He sees it as an opportunity to learn from one of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history and is motivated to see how he compares to Hamilton when they drive the same car.

Leclerc is optimistic about working alongside Hamilton and looks forward to learning valuable lessons from him and competing against him for wins. Fans are eagerly anticipating seeing the pair on the track for the Scuderia in 2025.
